New knitting and yarn stuff
Yeah, I know – it’s been forever, i’m a bad blogger. Tough crap. I have been doing some knitting stuff as of late, so lets get to checking that out.
I finished hubby’s socks, but they were quickly whisked away, and as soon as i find them I will get a photo.
I saw “we call them pirates” and had to make it for hubby. Took me 2 days to do the B&W, and now i’m making the lining. I did use the Hauk yarn, since he works construction outside. I think i’m going to line it 3/4th’s of the way instead of just a few inches. I’m using leftover sock yarn for the inside. I think a pair of the mittens will be made for me 
I’m pretty proud of how nice the inside turned out.
have more pic’s of my art yarn, now that it’s a scarf and gifted to the MIL. She did like it allot, I hope she wears it. Word to the wise, go to estate sales, pile everything up together, get one lump price – you will come home with a trunk load of yarn!
I got some more fiber from the pusher to spin up for some socks. I have been spinning up the sheepshed studio b&w stuff for now, trying to get better at spinning more consistently, since it is so cheap i can really go to town on it.
I got one of these spinners control cards, and i really like it, but I recommend a wpi tool also as it is more acurate.
